Our Spiralizer arrived in the mail, and we wasted NO time checking it out.
We used the thick "noodle" blade on 2 cucumbers, the thin blade on 1 green pepper, and the wide blade on a yellow squash.

Then I made a quick "spaghetti salad" with our coodles.
Coodle "Spaghetti" Salad |
I tossed the noodles with some tomato, celery and radishes. Pretty much whatever you would put in a pasta salad. (Olives, compliant salami, etc.) I put just a little bit of Italian dressing and sprinkled some salad supreme over top. Mixed it up and watched my husband and 5 year old "fight" over the fork. When the boys woke up (3 and almost 2 years old) they finished off the bowl. So simple and tasty!
Italian Dressing :
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 cup olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, or 1 tsp granulated
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
Pinch of marjoram
Punch of parsley
Place all ingredients in a mason jar and shake! (Fresh herbs are super tasty too.)
Salad Supreme:
2 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Poppy Seeds
1/2 tsp Celery Seeds
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Real or Pink Salt
1 tsp Granulated Garlic
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Cayenne
I make at least 4 batches at a time. I line up little jelly sized mason jars, and put one batch in each one. I put a whole container in a pound of pasta, so you'll have to adjust accord to how many "noodles" you have.

Will you try it? What would your "mix ins" be?
Love it!! Love it!! Had a big bulky food processor for spiralizer my zucchini and what a bundle something it was. This is small and light and handy to use...no heavy machine to drag out of cabinet. This works as well as the food processor and I will use it more often because it does not take up so much counter space.
